September Reading Champions Conference - Promoting Reading
“We should work a lot more on making reading fun and making every child a reader by the time they are 8 or 9 years old." Alan Gibbons.
We are delighted to welcome award winning children's author Alan Gibbons to our September Reading Champions Conference. Alan was a teacher for over 15 years, working with KS1, KS2 and KS3. Over the years he has made numerous visits to schools, libraries, colleges and education conferences both as an author and an independent educational consultant. Alan regularly joins us at Author Week and his sessions are highly inspirational and very entertaining!
